Do I need a coach to use this?
No. The check-in flow and weekly review work entirely for self-coached athletes. Coaches use the same tools to track the people they work with.
How long until I actually see progress?
Trend signals start to emerge around week 4 and become unmistakable by week 8–12. The product is deliberately tuned to that horizon — it's why we default to a 12-week review window instead of daily streaks.
How is this different from a spreadsheet?
Spreadsheets are blank by default — they let you skip the awkward questions. Gym Coach asks every week, charts the trend, and converts the noise into a prioritised plan. The friction is in the right place.
How does the coach side work?
Coaches sign up with a coach account and add a profile for each person they're tracking. They review every client's check-ins, measurements, and photos from a single dashboard, then send weekly feedback and prioritised action plans. Each coach's data is private to them.
How do I get my data out?
